Pylons

Sargent Fletcher Inc. (Sargent Fletcher) manufactures pylons designed specifically to support Sargent Fletcher external fuel tanks and Sargent Fletcher aerial refueling systems.  A request for a "fast track" solution for a universal pylon resulted into a modification to the design of a Sargent Fletcher pylon unit, used to support the Aerial Refueling Pod on KC-130 aircraft, into a component that would accept a MAU-12 ejector rack.  The project was completed and units were shipped in record time.  If you have a need for a pylon fabrication source, Sargent Fletcher would be happy to discuss your requirements in detail.

The recently delivered first unit for the USAF Airborne Laser program features a unique pylon that supports a pod placed above the fuselage, rather than the normal under-wing location.  These units will be installed on the upper fuselage of Boeing 747-400 aircraft, just aft of the cockpit.  Click here to learn more about the Sargent Fletcher Airborne Laser effort.
